The Team

 CHAIRMAN – Peter D Dauthieu Based in Jerez, Peter has been involved with Ehrmanns since the 1980′s when he started selling wines to the British supermarkets and off licence chains. A true visionnaire, it was under his helm that Ehrmanns started to source wines from new countries such as Argentina and Chile and has since then stayed focused on being ahead of the game. 

 
 MANAGING DIRECTORHugo Campbell Hugo began his career in the wine trade in 1981 starting with Saccone and Speed , then managing a fine wine shop in Belgravia, London after which he became a winemaker assistant (otherwise known as a cellar rat) in both California and Australia. He joined Ehrmanns in 1987 and held different positions in both sales and buying. He was promoted Managing Director when the new company E.I. Wines Ltd. was created in July 2009. As well as managing the company, Hugo has various buying and selling responsibilities.   

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER– Lenke Kiss  Lenke graduated in her native Hungary with an MA in English literature. After moving to the UK and a 5 years hiatus in the travel industry, she joined Ehrmanns in May 2006 in a junior finance role. Appointed Financial Controller in January 2010, she now looks after the finance team, as well as the multitude of other duties that a busy small company presents. After two years spent juggling work and stidying, she is a fully qualified member of teh Institute of Chartered Management Accountants.
DIRECTOR OF SALES – Kim Wilson After honing her selling skills at Carlsberg UK and Omnia ( ex Company of Wine People ), Kim joined Ehrmanns in 2005 as Account Manager for the Impulse sector. Today Kim is Director of Sales and manages the different sales teams. She is also the account manager for Tesco, Sainsburys and Asda. Kim is our buyer for all New Zealand wines. A keen baker, she has made herself very popular in the office by bringing homemade flapjacks and cupcakes, all made with Fairtrade ingredients of course ! 
DIRECTOR OF BUYING / NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER– Joy Edmondson  After a stint as a Majestic Assistant Manager, Joy joined Ehrmanns in 2000 and has had various positions in both sales and buying as well as a major role in developing Fairtrade wine brands in the UK. Today, Joy is Director of Buying for E.I. Wines Ltd. and looks after Italy, Chile, South Africa and Fairtrade specifically. Joy is also a National Account Manager for Waitrose and Marks & Spencer. A Runner Up for the Drinks Business Young Achiever of the Year 2010 Award, Joy has kept her feet on the ground and still agrees to make her tea round every now and then. 

 
NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER –  Peter Dauthieu Jr Peter joined Ehrmanns in 1999. After a few years learning his trade on the UK market, he is now based at our sister company – Viniberia – in Jerez. Peter is our ears and eyes on the Iberian ground. Responsible to source great Spanish wines for our portfolio, he is also National Account Manager for Majestic and The Wine Society. 
DIRECTOR OF ON TRADE – John Coakley Ex professional footballer John joined Ehrmanns in 1999, bringing a wealth of On Trade experience from his previous position at Carlsberg UK. He is now the Director of On Trade and looks after companies such as Carlsberg UK, Thwaites, Marstons Plc, etc… John has been a key element in developing our ethical brands in the horeca sector and it is today our fastest growing market for fair trade brands. He is also a keen golfer and an ardent Everton supporter. 
DIRECTOR EHRMANNS INDEPENDENT SELECTION – Mark Motley  Scotland – the North – the Midlands & the East. An ex buyer at Tanners, Mark joined Ehrmanns in 2003. Based up North, Mark has been a key element in developing our “Ehrmanns Independent Selection” portfolio and creating a brand which is recognized and respected in the trade. A keen cricketer, Mark is also the current holder of the very coveted “Ehrmanns best bwoler” title.

 
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER EHRMANNS INDEPENDENT SELECTION– Ian Tilleard Haines ( Consultant )  The South East, Home Counties and London ( M25 ). Ian joined us from Freixenet in 2005, he is looking after a mix of independent customers which cover both the On Trade and Off Trade sectors. One of the most senior members of the team , Ian is also one of the most dynamic. Living on a diet of motorway sandwiches and black coffee he is a lean mean selling machine constantly on the move, tirelessly spreading the EIS message. After reaching the ripe old age of 98 earlier this year, Ian has now retired from working full time for Ehrmanns and is doing his own thing as well as being a consultant for the EIS part of our business.

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER EHRMANNS INDEPENDENT SELECTION– Carl Burdett The South West and Wales. Ex Laymont and Shaw and Vinoceros, Carl joined us in 2006 and looks after the West side of the country to service independent Wine Merchants as well as independent On trade businesses. Carl has also set up his own company : Burdett Wines which supplies local Off and On Trade customers which require more flexibilty.
REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER EHRMANNS INDEPENDENT SELECTION- Keith Lay The South East. Previously Ehrmanns marketing director, Keith has launched a new business acting as an agent for Ehrmanns in the Independent trade in the South East (Excluding inner M25).  In addition, he has returned to his pre Ehrmanns life running Vococo, a consultancy offering practical, hands on marketing solutions to clients in the drinks business, including brand creation and NPD, business strategy and planning and training.Keith’s experience is very broad, consulting for organizations as varied as the NHS, Coca Cola and Burger King, but has always had a keen interest in the drinks trade where he has worked extensively of Grolsch, Ruddles, Blue Nun, Arniston Bay and many of the brands in the current Ehrmanns portfolio.
 Julie Dawson NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – Julie Dawson A new recruit who joined the company in October 2011, Julie previously had sales and business development roles at both Peter Lehmann and Winegrowers of Ara. Julie has been appointed to the position of National Account Manager for The Co-op and Wm Morrisons.  
Andy Gorman Impulse - National Account Manager
 
 NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – IMPULSE - Andy Gorman Andy has just joined Ehrmanns to fulfill the position of National Account Manager for Impulse. Andy will look after Spar, Musgrave & Nisa in addition to working with our agency Avansa to manage the cash and carry channel. Andy is specialist in this sector having held similar positions for both Bendicks Chocolates & Scottish & Newcastle.

 Rebecca Murphy - On line specialist Ehrmanns
On Line Specialist - Rebecca Murphy Social Media & Online specialist, will dedicate her time to e-retailers such as Virgin Wines, Ocado, M&S Direct & Slurp. Rebecca arrives from Majestic where after joining as a university graduate she progressed quickly through the management training programme to Senior branch Manager of the Twickenham store. 
  MARKETING MANAGER- Marianne Fillion After working for glassware producer Arc International as a B2B Account Manager, French born Marianne joined Ehrmanns in 2001 as Sales support for the beer department. She now looks after the marketing and PR for our Fairtrade and Fair for life certified partners as well as our Italian and Chilean producers. Marianne also works on various NPD projects for all trade channels, supervise the day to day running of the Marketing department, manages the Marketing budget and deals with the Fairtrade and Organic certification bodies.
Inessa Melnikova
 AGENCY MANAGER- Inessa Melnikova Hailing from Russia where she was Italian brand manager for Simple Wines, Inessa has been appointed to the position of Agency Manager. Inessa will assume Buying responsibilities for Argentina, Bulgaria & Australia as well as fulfilling the role of Brand Manager for New Zealand, Australia, Bulgaria, Argentina and Off Trade Spain. In her spare time, Inessa likes practicing yoga, hiking in teh countryside, cooking Italian food for her friends and listening to jazz .

MARKETING EXECUTIVE- Andre Neves    Andre is from Portugal where he gained a degree in Planning and Development Tourism Business and has work experience in the areas of  Tourism, Marketing, Design and Website Management. However he has decided to follow his passion for wine and recently moved to London to develop his new path. Andre looks after the Trade Marketing for our Iberian brands : Paternina, Juve Y Camps,Williams & Humbert and Bacalhoa. In his spare time, Andre likes to DJ, taste some wine, discover what London has got to offer to a thirty something young man and cook for his friends, although not necessarily in that order…

CREDIT CONTROL MANAGER– Stavroulla Parker Stavroulla – our Cypriot pocket rocket – is Ehrmanns’ secret weapon. She has over 40 years experience in the trade and knows everybody worth knowing. In these uncertain times, she makes sure that invoices are being paid and that we don’t get involved with the wrong crowd ! More efficient than a debt collector, she is a crucial element in the smooth running of the company, we would be lost without her.


 
  DIRECTOR OF LOGISTICS – David Robin David  – AKA “The Rock” – is one of the longest serving team members in the company. Scottish born David is in charge of logistics as well as our UK bottling contracts, deep sea shipments and looks after accounts such as Direct Wines, Sainsburys, Tesco and Marks and Spencer. More than a Director of Logistics and a pallet geek, David is also the office’s mother hen and is always here to listen and help. Despite having one of the most stressful jobs in the company, David is always very mild mannered and releases his stress by supporting The Rangers and playing golf.

LOGISTICS MANAGER– Abdul Rashid Still a teenager when he joined the company as an office junior in 2005, Abdul is the youngest member of the team. He has really made an impact during his time at Ehrmanns and we are really proud of how well his career has developed for the last few years. Abdul now looks after all our UK Inbond orders ( Ehrmanns Independent Selection and Impulse customers )  as well as managing logistics for bigger accounts such as The Coop, WM Morrisons, Booths and Waitrose. Since he has announced his engagement a few weeks ago, the ladies in the office and most of East London female population has gone into mourning… 

 
IT MANAGER – Terry Lee Terry has been with the company for over 10 years now. His equipment takes half of our sample room, but is apparently necessary for the smooth running of our IT system. Whether it is Christmas Orders craziness or the Marketing team sending 20 MB emails, Terry always rises to the challenge and save the day in a calm assured manner. He also makes sure we are all wired properly and that the sales team is reachable at all times ! In his spare time, Terry is the most fervent West Ham supporter.
