Taste Finca Monteflores at the Mercado Andino on Table 84

Finca Monteflores has been owned by the d’Aulan family since 2001 and forms part of the Mendoza based La Casa del Rey. The winery takes a pioneering approach to viticulture, crafting boutique wines which are both premium and sustainable. The wines are made by French born winemaker Matthieu Grassin who strives to produce wines that express their unique terroir through individual vineyard parcel fermentation and innovative vineyard management techniques. Sustainable environmental considerations are made at every stage of the winemaking process.
The winery obtained Fairtrade certification in 2011 following a worker’s initiative known as the Monteflores Association. Over 60 workers and their families today benefit from the Fairtrade programme.
