Visit us at the Big Fortified Tasting

For the 4rd consecutive year, the best of fortified wines will come together under a single roof in a unique trade tasting. The event will take place on 24th April in Glazier's Hall, London (10.30am to 6pm), and Ehrmanns will be showcasing a very special selection wines (Tables n. 7 & 8). As a specialist involved with Sherry and Spanish Wines since 1976, Ehrmanns strives to supply the best at the different quality levels from basic entry level to true treasures.
As a long standing supplier of Sherries to the UK market, Ehrmanns, together with its sister company Viniberia based in Jerez, has been able to source a range of rare Sherries for new Sherry consumer. From its established Sherry producer Williams & Humbert, Ehrmanns has released two new vintage Sherries from the Treasure Selections range – Fino En Rama Vintage 2006 and a "Single Cask" Oloroso Vintage 1982.
In addition to these, Peter J Dauthieu, Ehrmanns - Director & Viniberia - Managing Director, has selected special Sherries bottled in extremely limited quantities which will provide customers with a unique offering for their consumers. These latest additions include Sacristia AB Manzanilla Saca Primavera 2012, Sanchez Romate Hnos Fino Perdido 1/15 Butts, Cayetano del Pino & Cia Palo Cortado Solera, Cayetano del Pino & Cia Palo Cortado Viejisimo 1/5 Butts, Salto Al Cielo Oloroso 1/5 Butts and Williams & Humbert "As You Like It" Amontillado Medium Sweet 1/27 Butts (Williams & Humbert Treasure Selection).
Peter J Dauthieu says of the additions “With the emergence of specialist sherry bars and restaurants taking sherry a little more seriously, we are witnessing a change in image of Sherry. Within this new culture, consumers are keen to explore a wider variety of sherry styles with a wider range of cuisines. We are extremely privileged by the latest additions to the range, which fit in with Ehrmanns diverse range of products.”
These Sherries, along with the full range from Williams and Humbert, will be showcased at the Big Fortified Tasting alongside Bacalhoa Moscatel 2009 and Bacalhoa Moscatel Reserve 2000.
