A Successful Summer for Giesen!

25 June 2014

Giesen Wines have had an exceptionally busy month promoting their excellent quality New Zealand wines at a variety of consumer events.

After a busy three days at the London Wine Fair, Giesen showed five of their finest wines at The Three Wine Men on the 6th and 7th June with fantastic consumer feedback. Visitors to the show, held at The Oval Cricket ground, were invited to taste the difference between the Estate Sauvignon Blanc, The Brothers Sauvignon Blanc and The August 1888 as well as the Estate Merlot and The Brothers Pinot Noir. Many visitors were taken aback by the very different styles that can be produced by one single grape variety in a single region.

On Tuesday 17th of June, Giesen Wines were tasted by a young and vibrant crowd of artists, architects and designers at the Central Saint Martins Degree Show 2014. The Giesen Estate Sauvignon Blanc and The Brothers Pinot Noir proved to be incredibly popular with the cultural crowd, who enjoyed the wines at a sponsored pop-up bar created exclusively for Giesen by the BA Product Design students.

The following week, Giesen hosted a stand at Taste of London food festival from the 18th to the 22nd June. Again, the wines proved to be very popular with the public and the stand was constantly buzzing. The full Estate and The Brothers ranges were on show, as well as The August 1888, which visitors were invited to sample for free or buy by the glass or bottle. The public were genuinely impressed by the very high quality of the wines on display.

In addition to wine sampling, a free Giesen photo booth from The Photo Booth Guys was also available to visitors at Taste who liked the Giesen Facebook page. Fitting in well with the brand’s motto: ‘Great Wine. Great People. Great Times!’  the booth proved to be great fun and was enjoyed by over 300 people!
