Producer Summary:Giesen Wines was founded in 1981 by three brothers Theo, Alex and Marcel Giesen from Germany. As adventurous young men, the Giesen brothers travelled the world finally settling in New Zealand, where they agreed that Marlborough was the ideal place to grow grapes. From their first vintage, the Giesen brothers' sense of adventure and determination has shaped their stunning wines. The brothers are always looking for something new and now craft an extensive range of wines so they can offer something for every occasion.
Short Tasting Note:Red cherry and clove primary notes lead to brambles, lavender and a freshly tilled earth finish.
Long Tasting Note:Red cherry, clove, brambles, lavender and freshly tilled earth. Cherry, warm spice, supple fruit and silky tannin with a finely structured palate.
