Long Tasting Note:Tropical fruit flavours of pineapple and banana, well balanced by a refreshing acidity on the finish. This wine suits chicken salad and soft cheeses. Chile’s Central Valley has a long tradition of winemaking due to it having the ideal climate for growing grapes, with long warm summers which allow the grapes to ripen slowly and develop complex flavours. Santa Carolina has been a pioneer of Chilean wine since 1875 when Luis Pereyra Cotapos founded the winery, which he named after his wife.

Oscar Miller of Vinoteca Kings Cross, says: "Minerals, texture and a depth way beyond its price tag. Herbaceous notes on the nose alongside hints of tangerine peel lead to a fresh palate, more than capable of holding its own alongside quite punchy dishes. Think monkfish with tomato, olives, anchovy and a touch of chilli."
