Santa Carolina, Specialities Ocean Side Sauvignon Blanc 2016 (San Antonio)
Close to the sea, stony vineyard with pockets of limestone.
‘Grassy and herbal on the nose but stony too. Plenty of Sauvignon Blanc character yet showing its seaside origin in excellent freshness and a slightly salty, grassy finish. Subtle and quite long.'
Santa Carolina Reserva de la Familia Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 (Maipo)
‘Deepest crimson with black core. Smells dark and savoury rather than immediately sweet fruited. Lots of spice and pepper and darkest chocolate. On the palate, thickly textured – perhaps by the oak - but smooth, generous and with just enough freshness.’
