The seminar promises to be a unique opportunity to discover the Marlborough region in depth and from a fresh perspective:

"Horizons of Marlborough" Masterclass synopsis
A soil horizon is a layer generally parallel to the soil surface. Three or four of these layers make up the soil, the foundations. There are many horizons shaping Marlborough winegrowing and making. The valleys are a unique mix of climate, topography and soils which creates fascinating sub-regions and micro ‘single vineyard’ regions. Marcel Giesen decided to call this diverse terroir home over twenty years ago and has since, contributed greatly to laying the regions’ wine foundations. While continuing to celebrate Sauvignon Blanc versatility in style, depth and complexity, his masterclass will also broaden your perception of Marlborough through tasting some of the finest expressions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Bring me that horizon!
