Angove Organic Wine Recognised as Industry Leaders With Business of the Year Award

Angove Family Winemakers has been recognised as a leading industry innovator at the 6th Australian Organic Industry Awards 2019, nominated across three categories; Certified Organic Alcohol Product of the Year for Angove Organic Shiraz Cabernet, Export Market Leader and Business of the Year. Eventually taking out the most prestigious award of Business of the Year.


This year judges say entrants exceeded expectations. "With so many innovative new products, successful business stories and extraordinary individuals, this year's finalists are a true credit to our industry which has quickly become one of the most dynamic markets in Australia," Australian Organic chief executive Niki Ford said.
The prestigious awards were presented as part of the annual Australian Organic Industry Awards on the 15th November to recognise the achievements of businesses who are committed to sustainable and organic practice across different sectors including wine.


John Angove AM, Chairman of Angove Family Winemakers and 4th generation winemaker, who accepted the award said, “we are thrilled to receive this recognition which reaffirm Angove’s status as Australia’s leading Certified Organic winemaker and endorses the Angove Organic team as the best in the field.”
