Short Tasting Note:A deep, rich and complex wine with dark plum fruit flavours, cassis, currants and hints of spice on the long finish.
Long Tasting Note:A deep, rich and complex wine with dark plum fruit flavours, cassis, currants and hints of spice on the long finish. The grapes were grown in the La Rinconada vineyards in the Cachapoal Valley, close to the Cachapoal River, which receives a large amount of rain during the short winter months and has long summers of cool breezes and sunshine. Temperatures vary greatly from warm days to cool nights which allow the grapes to ripen slowly to maintain natural acidity and develop complex flavours. The wine was then aged for eight months in French oak barrels before being bottled. This wine suits red meats, spicy sauces particularly curries and mature cheeses.

Press Recommendations:"Poached red berries and fresh red flowers make for an attractive nose. The palate has a very juicy, tart and fresh feel with fine, light tannins." - James Suckling (Jamessuckling.com, October 2020). "Pure, juicy plum and currant fruit is streaked with resinous, earthy tobacco notes and fine, firm tannins. Savoury and linear in style, showing a hint of maturity, this is a thoroughly grown up expression of the grape." - Decanter Magazine (Top 50 Value Buys from South America, October 2015)
