Short Tasting Note:A deep, rich and complex wine with blackcurrant fruit flavours, ripe fig, dark chocolate and hints of leather on the long finish.
Long Tasting Note:A deep, rich and complex wine with blackcurrant fruit flavours, ripe fig, dark chocolate and hints of leather on the long finish. The grapes were grown in the Maipo Valley, one of the oldest wine producing regions in Chile. Temperatures vary greatly from warm days to cool nights which allow the grapes to ripen slowly and steadily to maintain natural acidity and develop complex flavours. The grapes were handpicked and the wine was aged in French oak for 15 months, then aged a further 6 months in bottle before release. This wine suits red meat dishes particularly lamb shank and juicy steak.
