Altamana Grande Reserve Malbec is Top Value Wine from Chile in the Wine Spectator Annual Chilean Tasting Report

Altamana Grande Reserve Malbec 2013 has been named the Top Value Wine from Chile in the Wine Spectator's Annual Chilean tasting report.
The wine was picked from 350 wines entered, making the list of top wines chosen by managing editor and lead taster Kim Marcus. The Malbec scored 91 points out of a possible 100 and was praised as as having:
'An aroma of dark fruit leads to kirsch, plum and raspberry tart flavors'
In addtion, two wines from the historical winery Santa Carolina also made the coveted Wine Spectator Recommended Wines from Chile list:
Santa Carolina Reserva de Familia Carmenere 2011
'Features dense flavours of plum, dried raspberry and dark chocolate'
Santa Carolina Herencia Carmenere, Peumo 2010
'Well-sculpted and full of dark fruit, with berry and currant flavours, accented by vibrant spice and chocolate notes.'
