Carmenère Trophy & Gold Outstanding for Santa Carolina Reserva de Familia Carmenère 2014

Santa Carolina has been awarded Gold Outstanding and has received the Carmenère Trophy at the 2017 International Wine & Spirits Competition for the Santa Carolina Reserva da Familia Carmenère 2014.

The IWSC judges said, "this wine from 2014 has melded over the last three years into a fine example of Carmenère, with density yet elegance. Aromatic and herbal, with rosemary, lavender and tomato leaf hints. The palate exhibits ripe wild sloes and savoury spice. Well structured and complex right through to the finish - delicious."
