Ehrmanns unveils latest additions to portfolio at the Spanish Tasting 2011

Ehrmanns will be showing its Spanish portfolio at this years’ Spanish Fair – 10th of March – Old Billingsgate – London. Our stand ( 19 ) will be split in two sections :
Ehrmanns Independent Selection (independents / e commerce / on-trade)
The EIS area will showcase the latest additions and latest releases from its core range of Spanish wines including Paternina and double trophy winner ( NWSA ) sherry producer Williams & Humbert. Ehrmanns is adding two fantastic new ranges to its Spanish portfolio : a pair of Godellos from Bodegas Valdesil, DO Valdeorras and a pair of Mencia from Losada Vinos De Finca, DO Bierzo. Northern Spain is gathering a lot of interest at the moment, and we feel it is the perfect time to introduce these two indigenous grapes on the market. The wines will be aimed for specialist merchants and higher end On Trade establishments. We will also be showing cavas from family owned premium producer Juve Y Camps, its 100% Pinot Noir rose as well as the classic Cinta Purpura and the iconic Reserva de La Familia – a 0% residual sugar Gran Reserva – will be available to taste. Bodegas Paternina is also to launch its new vintages and announce the switch to screwcap of its joven range, export director Carlos Latas and marketing and export manager Noemi Gonzalez will be on hand to comment.
Grocery and the multiples
This area will be dedicated to wines and sherries produced to meet the demands of these sectors. These include a range of wines from Castillo de Calatrava, Marqués de Calatrava, Villa Malea, Castillo La Paz, Carta Roja and Williams & Humbert own-label sherry. New product launches available to try include, Carta Roja Rosado, a Monastrel rose and Carta Roja Airen Sauvignon Blanc from Bodegas San Isidro , DO Jumilla, and a trio of wines from Villamalea: Viura, Rosado and Crianza. We will also be officialy relaunching our flagship range Castillo de Calatrava with a brand new packaging. Of special note for those interested in sherry will be the first-rate range available from Williams & Humbert. This traditional sherry house has an impeccable reputation for producing the highest quality fortified wines, tailored to meet the needs of grocery and the multiples.
