See the full results below.

Montecillo Gran Reserva 2012 - 96 Points

"Rich red and dark cherry fruits with a touch of forest berry and light striations of vanilla and toasted notes but very faint. Grippy red fruits on the palate and quite dexterous overall despite the age and time in barrel, leading to a lengthy finish with great complexity. Definitely weightier as per the classification, but a fine example of the style."

Montecillo Reserva 2015 - 94 Points

"Cured red cherries with a bit of a forest fruit compote, light red licorice notes, chewy spices, tobacco, and wet black tea leaf. Rich, structured and holding fine, lengthy tannins on the palate with acidity to balance it out and carry it. Really in a fine moment to drink."

Montecillo Crianza 2018 - 93 Points

"Red cherry and pomegranate with a touch of minor green fruit/tobacco leaf at the edges, dark chocolate and light notes of dried violet. Dried fruit on the palate and overall decent depth."
