Jancis Robinson rates Herencia Carménere 2010 16.5/20

The reputed wine writer Jancis Robinson has recommended New World Winery of the Year Santa Carolina's icon Herencia 2010 from Peumo, Chile on JancisRobinson.com.
She awards the wine 16.5/20 and writes: "Very Dark, intense, and in a more modern idiom than their Luis Pereira Cabernet Sauvignon. Drying end."
Jancis rates Luis Pereira 2012 17/10 and notes: "Modelled on their wines from the 1950s and 1960s, and made using old winemaking techniques such as 1,000-litre foudres, and picking very early (see the alcohol levels). From three vineyards all with vines over 25 years old.Very fine and lively. Fresh."
