Bodegas Montecastro
Bodegas Montecastro was founded in the early 2000s, by a group of friends who had the vision of creating exceptional wines in the heart of Ribera del Duero. Today, the winery has 27 hectares which are located near Burgos in the province of Valladolid (Castrillo de Duero). The vineyards are densely planted and found at some of the highest altitudes in the region, between 860 and 923 meters above sea level. The wines are aged in French Allier oak barrels for depth and complexity.
