Press Recommendations:“So much fruit and so youthful for its age. There’s a very ripe, rich feel to the palate with poached blueberries and plums, delivered with almost essence-like ripeness and concentration.” - James Suckling (JamesSuckling.com, January 2021) "Powerfully structured, with graphite notes flanking the dense dark fruit and spice flavours. Supported by firm tannins and acidity. Offers a minerally finish. Showing lots of dried savory accents. Drink now through 2026" - Kim Marcus (Wine Spectator, October 2020). "Herencia is an assemblage of Carmenere from Peumo and Los Lingues with 3% Maipo Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Maule Malbec. More international in style than the other top Santa Carolina reds, complete with a body builder bottle, it's plush, textured and smooth with toasty new oak and balancing acidity. 93 points (2014 Vintage)" - Tim Atkin MW. '2015 Wine Spectator Recommended Wines from Chile list, scoring 92/100 points; Kim Marcus praised the wine as being: "Well-sculpted and full of dark fruit, with berry and currant flavours, accented by vibrant spice and chocolate notes".
