Short Tasting Note:A complex, smooth and full bodied wine with ripe blackberry and cherry fruit flavours with hints of cassis and mint on the long finish.
Long Tasting Note:A complex, smooth and full bodied wine with ripe blackberry and cherry fruit flavours with hints of cassis and mint on the long finish. The grapes were grown in the Maipo Valley, one of the oldest wine producing regions in Chile. Temperatures vary greatly from warm days to cool nights which allow the grapes to ripen slowly to maintain natural acidity and develop complex flavours. The grapes were handpicked and the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months in Santa Carolina’s historic underground cellar in the heart of Santiago. This wine suits juicy steak, spicy sauces and mature cheeses.
